(A) Scope. This chapter applies to any written contract, or any agreement in any contract, agreement, or instrument, validly entered into by the Karuk Tribe (the “Tribe”), or by any authorized subdivision, instrumentality, component, or agency of the Tribe, or by any other person in a transaction that is subject to the jurisdiction of the Tribe, in which the parties thereto agree to settle by arbitration any controversy arising out of such contract.
