The Court may appoint a temporary guardian under such terms and conditions as the Court sets forth in the written order. A temporary guardianship order must state the expiration date of the guardianship. A temporary guardianship may be ordered before the guardianship report is completed if it is in the child’s best interests to do so; however, a guardianship report must be completed within a reasonable amount of time for the guardianship to remain in place.
