The Tribal Court must review and approve the initial placement and any subsequent placements of a child in a short-term residential treatment program within sixty (60) days of the date of that placement. The review and approval of such a placement may occur in conjunction with an already scheduled hearing for the child if it occurs within the sixty (60) day time frame. If the placement occurs in a time period that is outside of an already scheduled hearing within sixty (60) days, a special hearing must be held to review and approve the placement.
