Any legal evidence may be considered. Evidence shall include, but not be limited to: certified birth certificates, delayed birth certificates, baptismal records, Bureau of Indian Affairs allotment or probate records, school records, military records, applications from the rolls of California Indians, court ordered paternity statements, records from the Bureau of Vital Statistics, County Family Support Division records, marriage certificates, death certificates, historical society records adoption records or DNA testing reports.
