(A) Each candidate may have present at each polling place one (1) poll watcher. Any person who has been designated as a poll watcher shall have in his or her possession, at all times he or she is present in the polling place in that capacity, a notarized statement by the candidate certifying that the person is a representative of the candidate. The certified statement shall be delivered to the Karuk Tribe Enrollment Office for the Election Committee by 5:00 p.m. the day before any election.

(B) No poll watcher or any other person may engage in any political activity, campaign, or canvassing at or within one hundred (100) yards of a polling place.

(C) One (1) poll watcher for each candidate may witness the counting of the votes at Tribal headquarters, at the discretion of the Election Committee.

(D) The Election Committee may dismiss a poll watcher for misconduct during ballot counting. [Ord. 5 § 19, 8/23/2018.]
