(A) In the event that the person receiving the highest number of votes for an office has fewer than eleven (11) votes more than the person receiving the next highest number of votes, the latter may, upon written request to the Election Committee, have the votes for that particular office recounted by the Election Committee.

(B) Any request for a recount shall be in writing and be delivered to the Chairperson of the Election Committee no later than forty-eight (48) hours after the results of the election have been announced and posted by the Committee. [Ord. 5 § 21, 8/23/2018.]
