A primary election shall be held for the officer positions of Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, and Secretary/Treasurer. The primary election shall be conducted the first Tuesday in August. Voting shall be by secret ballot. Absentee ballots shall be available upon written request by registered voters and mailed in a timely manner to such voters as set forth in KTC 4.05.160(A).

The two (2) candidates receiving the most votes in the primary election shall compete against each other in the general election which shall be conducted on the first Tuesday of November pursuant to the provisions of this chapter. [Ord. 5 § 28, 8/23/2018.]
