The Karuk Tribe wants to encourage Tribal members to enter into business activities, which is part of the Tribal policy of self-determination. Therefore, the Karuk Tribe is allowing a lower business license fee assessment for Tribal members. These Tribal members will have to verify their Tribal membership during the application process.
