Nothing in this article shall impair the rights of the parties to compromise any liability that is claimed to exist under this article from an injury, disease, or death covered under the provisions herein. After reaching a compromise, a copy of the release or compromise agreement signed by both the claimant and the Administrator shall be presented to the Karuk Tribal Gaming Authority for approval.
