Any employer that is affected by an order of the TERO Office/Director or an employee that is affected by the closing of a complaint may appeal to the TERO Commission. The party shall have ten (10) days from the date the order is issued to file a notice of appeal. The notice of appeal shall be submitted in writing to the Commission and shall state the reasons upon which the appeal is based. The Commission shall issue a written notice of hearing to the employer and employee, and require the opposing party to respond to the appeal at a hearing before the Commission. The hearing shall be held within a reasonable amount of time, but in no event shall a hearing be held sooner than thirty (30) days after the notice of appeal is filed. [Ord. 4 § 7.5, 4/16/2015.]
