The Karuk Tribe exercises jurisdiction over all cases involving domestic violence that occur on Karuk Tribal land, including Aboriginal Territory and historical districts, where the petitioner is a member of the Tribe or persons who are eligible for membership in the Tribe or an enrolled descendant, based on the unique political status of the individual.
